Borrowing

Most items in the library can be borrowed and used outside of the library. A few items can only be used inside the library. Certain item types also have limits on how many can be borrowed by a user at any one time. See Collections for details regarding borrowing policies of specific item types.

To borrow any materials, an individual must be an authorized user and be registered with the library. A valid military ID must be used when borrowing items.  Dependents borrow items under their sponsor's name. Thus, sponsors are responsible for all items checked out by themselves and by their dependents.

The length of time an item may be borrowed depends on the item type. See Collections for details on checkout lengths.

Borrowing an item is as simple as taking your items to the circulation desk where a friendly staff member will assist you.
